LASH EXTENSIONS

PRE-CARE

  • Feel free to bring in your AirPods because we will need to LIMIT talking/conversations. When you talk, your face will start to move and your eyes will flutter making the eye patches and tape move up/down, making it difficult to place the extensions. Please do not take it personally if I am unable to converse while I am doing your lashes.

  • SHOWER before your appointment. You will need to avoid hot steam and water directly on the face for the first 24 hours.

  • Come in with NO eye makeup! Please make sure they are squeaky clean and free from lash glue, mascara residue, and eye shadow. Lash extensions will not stick to dirty lashes.

  • Please AVOID caffeine before your appointment as it will make your eyes flutter, making it extremely difficult to properly place the extensions.

  • Please try to EAT something before your appointment since you will be laying down for at least 2 hours and unable to open your eyes.

LASH EXTENSIONS

Dirt and makeup residue will result in poor retention due to the debris that crusts around the base of the lashes. Be gentle when your cleansing them and do not use any harsh movements. Dry your lashes with a handheld fan or hair dryer on a cool setting whilst brushing them out. This will keep your lashes looking fluffy and not is sparse.

  • NO showering, swimming, steam rooms or saunas for 24 hours.

  • Please DO NOT pick at your eyelashes and do your best to not lay on your face.

  • NO mascara

  • NO lash curling.

  • NO falsies.

  • NO lash enhancement or eyeliner tattoos while you have extensions on. You must book for a lash removal if you plan on getting this service done.

HOW TO CLEANSE LASH EXTENSIONS

  1. Take off all face and eye makeup being extremely cautious around the eye area if using an oil cleanser.

  2. Shake your lash bath bottle and pump once directly onto your eyelid with eyes closed.

  3. Using a damp fluffy lash brush, brush in a downwards motion to get off as much makeup/debris. Then start to brush upwards as if your applying mascara to clean both sides of the lashes. Use more soap as needed.

  4. Clean off any excess soap on the brush and soak up with water and start brushing downwards and upwards again get off any excess soap. Keep doing this until all the soap is washed out, and repeat on the other eye.

  5. Using a clean towel, or paper towel, pat the lashes dry to soak up any residual water.

  6. Use a lash spool and a hand-held fan or a hair dryer (on the coolest setting) to brush and fluff out your clean lashes. Please do not skip this step. This will help keep your lashes looking fuller and fluffier! If you let them air dry, they tend to dry in the same form they are wet, making them look sparse when dry.
